This Diwali, the Maithil Association of America (MAA)—on behalf of all our member families—was proud to contribute bulk festive items to Narika’s annual Diwali drive, bringing warmth, comfort, and festive cheer to families supported by their vital programs. Dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence in the South Asian community, Narika works tirelessly to ensure every individual feels valued and supported. Through this collective gift, MAA member families are honored to extend the true spirit of Mithila—compassion, unity, and shared light—helping bring joy and belonging to those who need it most during this special season.
The Maithil Association of the Americas has successfully concluded its Board of Directors (BOD) election for the upcoming term. We extend our sincere gratitude to all members who participated in the voting process and helped shape the future of our leadership.
